NightClub Events Booking App
Guestlist+ is a mobile application that transforms the way people discover and engage with nightlife. From free guest list entries to VIP table reservations and custom add-ons like bottle service or birthday decorations, Guestlist+ offers a fully integrated booking experience for clubgoers. The goal was to make night-out planning fast, intuitive, and personalized—while capturing the vibe of nightlife through a dark, neon-infused UI.

Challenge
One of the main challenges in designing Guestlist+ was creating a fluid booking experience that caters to multiple user types—from casual partygoers to VIP clientele—while maintaining a fun, fast-paced mobile interface. The app needed to support various flows including free guest list registration, ticket purchases, VIP table bookings, and personalized add-ons. We also had to ensure QR-based check-in functionality was tightly integrated and visually accessible within a neon-rich design system. Balancing visual appeal with booking clarity was crucial in this nightlife-focused, mobile-first experience.
Results
The launch of Guestlist+ resulted in a significant improvement in user engagement during beta testing. Users appreciated the speed and simplicity of the booking process, the aesthetic energy of the interface, and the flexibility of customizing their nightlife experience. Clubs saw increased early check-ins due to free guest list prompts and higher VIP bookings through upsell flows built into the app.

Research and Discovery:
Studied existing nightlife apps and interviewed clubgoers and venue managers
Mapped out user journeys for different personas: guest list users, ticket buyers, and VIP groups
Wireframing and Prototyping:
Designed low-fidelity wireframes to test core flows like booking and check-in
Created high-fidelity prototypes in Figma using a dark neon theme to reflect the nightlife vibe
User Testing and Feedback:
Conducted remote usability tests focusing on booking speed and visual clarity
Iterated on designs to improve action hierarchy, especially for upsell add-ons
Visual Design:
Developed a bold UI system using neon purples and deep blacks, inspired by club lighting
Created branded visuals and animations to match the energetic, social vibe of events
Conclusion
Guestlist+ demonstrates how thoughtful design and mobile-first development can simplify and elevate the nightlife experience. By combining vibrant aesthetics with streamlined flows for booking, personalization, and check-in, the app brings convenience and excitement together on one platform. This project highlights my ability to translate real-world social behaviors into intuitive digital solutions, while staying true to the energy and branding of the entertainment space.
